Ad Astra Tuition

Client:  

Ad Astra Tuition was established in 2008 and provides tutoring services in more than 17 tuition centres in the UK across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and West London.

Challenge: 

  1. Increase online bookings via the website by at least 10% within a year.  
  2. Increase leaflet conversions by at least 10% within a year. 
  3. Help develop a marketing strategy for the brand including social media and in-store ads.

 

Solution: 

My competitor analysis and interviews with 10 parents waiting in the tuition centre gave me a deeper insight into the target customer and the ideal tone of voice. I chose a formal and informative writing style, which aligns with the professional image the brand wants to portray.

For example, the section titled ‘How we do it’ within the About page states, ‘Our approach to learning is based on three principles: Adapt, Instill and Expand’ followed by an explanation within a graphic. The principles are highly relevant because they give readers a clear insight into the company’s tailored approach to assess each learner’s needs and academic level.

 Additionally, I followed the same principles while creating in-store ads including banners and posters located inside the tuition centres.

By October 2022 (9 months after my web copy updates), the company saw online bookings increase by over 21%. Additionally, the objective to increase leaflet conversions by over 11% within a year was achieved by November 2022 (10 months after my leaflet copy updates).   

Overall the client said the project has been successful, and I continue to work with this very pleased client.
